| Do you do dinner parties? One of the things a personal chef can do is to prepare great dinner parties for groups of 10-30 people-- the amounts that many caterers just don't want to get involved with. Pricing will depend on the type of party, menu, etc. Generally the service fee starts at $15 to $20 per person for a full 5 course meal (subject to my minimum fee of $250), plus the cost of food and any additional help I would have to hire for larger parties or serving, if you require that. One of my favorite evenings is "Tapas night," a series of small portion plates brought out over the course of an evening with friends. I can't think of a better way to hang out together. (See below for a samle Tapas night menu) My availability for parties is limited, so get in touch early when you're planning your next event and we can see about making it something to remember! |
"Everyone
enjoyed the delicious lunch you prepared for the baby shower. It
was so nice to have the freedom to relax and enjoy my guests and not
have the worries about the food preparation and serving. I look
forward to having you visit my kitchen in the future and the many
delicious meals you have to share." -Jodi Bigger |

Do you offer gift certificates? You
bet! A gift certificate from the Home Bistro would be perfect for
a new parent, recovering patient, house-warming gift, or just to offer
a kindness to someone who needs something really special in their life.
Your gift can be for just the service fee, or can include a certain sum to apply toward grocery costs.
