Brad's Bistro: the Bible Institute

The Bible Institute is a series of 12 seminars that I created to help people who haven't been around the Word all that much get up to speed with the basics of Scripture and Christian doctrine in a relatively short period of time.   Each seminar is approximately 3 hours long and includes notes and a binder.  The scriptural seminars include an overview, historical background, content review, theological themes, and suggestions on how to study that genre of scripture.  The doctrinal seminars are also divided into sections, but a little differently for each.  Manuscripts for each seminar are presented to church leadership for approval in advance.  Each participant will be required to purchase Fee and Stuart's "How to Read the Bible for all it's Worth", and  Zondervan's Bible handbook.

The institute is a year long commitment, and I suggest registration and tuition for participants.  My fee is $3,000 payable in monthly increments of $250.

The Institute seminars are listed below.  I have included links to the manuscripts of the Gospels and Introduction to the Bible so you can see what these are basically all about, as well as Basic Christian Doctrine as a guide to my basic theology.

Introduction to the Bible
Basic Christian Doctrine
Apologetics
Evangelism
Pentateuch
Historical books
Poetry and Wisdom Literature
Prophets
Gospels
Acts
Epistles
Revelation
