Eulogy

This isn't about anyone in particular, but you can sing it my funeral if you want.  Thanks to Karen Rafferty for vocals on the recording.

I still can see you in the garden with the moonlight in your hair

Falling around you like the snow through the still winter air

We’d sit and wonder how the birds sing together with the song of the river as it runs

All of the days together flow like the paint upon the canvas as it’s caught in the storm

I still can see you in the garden with the moonlight in your hair

Falling around you like my tears frozen in the winter air

The lesson you taught me was to live for the day and take tomorrow for whatever may come

All my tomorrows stretch forever before me and I pray that they soon may be done

Glory hallelujah amen, do the angels sing around you now

Glory hallelujah amen, I know the angels sing around you now

I cannot see you in the garden but I know that you are there

Singing together with the chorus of beauty that is there
