| How does a personal chef service work?
It begins with an initial consultation in which we discuss your dietary
preferences and needs. A week prior to the scheduled cook date I
will design menus for your approval. A personal chef is all
about maximum flexibility and getting exactly the food you want and
need to match your lifestyle.
On the scheduled cook date, I will do the grocery shopping and arrive at your home with my own tools to prepare the menus that have been agreed on, leaving them behind in the containers of your choice, usually vacuum packed, either in the refrigerator or freezer, with simple unthawing and re-heating instructions. Your kitchen will be left clean and sanitary, as per the highest of professional standards. |

Basic meal plans
Other options can be arranged to meet your specific requirements, but this will give you an idea of what can be done. Each plan can also be packaged however you would like. For instance, you might want the best value of 10 menus to serve four, but there are only two of you. In that case, have them packaged for two and you have almost a whole month's worth of food by just being willing to eat the same menu twice. The cost of groceries is under your control and will depend on what you like to eat, but you can generally assume $3-5 per serving. Compare this to what it would cost you in money, time, hassle, and compromised health to get in the car, wait for a table, and pay for the food with the tax and the tip and the over-priced beverages. You can quickly see that having your own custom meals ready for you when you get home is not just wonderfully convenient, but an extreme value! Each menu includes the main dish as well as prepped and blanched vegetables of your choice and appropriate starches. Other services available include bread, salads, desserts,
and almost anything else that can come out of a kitchen, other than bad
food. After all, you’ve got your own
personal chef! For information on dinner parties and special events, please
